8/4/10 Durham, NC-Gospel Recording Artist Alicia Ellison Grant will be performing at the 2010 Phoenix Fest on October 2, 2010. This event will take place in downtown Durham, North Carolina at 908 Fayetteville St at 11:00 am. This is an all day outdoor event and it is free and open to the public.
Alicia Ellison Grant will also be opening for the Carolina Chocolate Drops at the 2010 Raleigh State Fair on October 17, 2010. This concert starts at 7:30 pm at the Dorton Arena. She will also be returning on October 20, 2010 to perform at the Military Appreciation Day on the Waterfall Stage at 11:00 am. Alicia will be performing “Brave Soldiers of the USA” a song she wrote in honor of our troops. She will also be performing other patriotic songs.
She is a native of Walterboro, South Carolina and the daughter of Jessie and King Ellison Jr. Alicia is the wife of Calvin Grant and the mother of three beautiful children and one precious grandson.
Alicia graduated from Barber-Scotia College with honors. She majored in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.
Alicia Ellison Grant is an anointed and powerful gospel recording artist who has been singing gospel since the age of five. She has shared the stage with Damita Haddon, Regina Bell, James Fortune, Calvin Suggs, Julianne Hough, Wes Morgan, Gerald Hinton, Trecinda Payne and others.
She is also an ordained minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ, authoress, songwriter, poet and a producer.
